Holiday to Spetses, Greece

1 week staying at 'Spiti Charlie', a grand old Venetian-style villa in the old part of Spetses town.

Spiti Charlie is one of the largest and grandest houses in the old style built in the beautiful, quiet residential area that stretches around to the Old Harbour. Set right on the sea it commands a panoramic view of the Straits of Spetses and Mt. Didyma on the mainland opposite, with the town to the west and lighthouse headland to the east.

With 3 double and two single bedrooms upstairs and a single bedroom and double bedded 'maids room' downstairs, the maximum number of people desirable in the house is 8. There are two major bathrooms, a shower and extra downstairs toilet. With three sitting rooms, dining room, a reading room with balcony, a large central cool room opening on to the terrace and garden at the back, Spiti Charlie has all the space you could desire. Maid service for 2 hours a day is also included.

The 4 mile long island of Spetses lies southwest of Athens. Travel and transfers are not included but entail a flight from either Gatwick or Heathrow to Athens followed by a 50 min taxi/bus trip to the harbour and a 1.5-2 hr ferry/hydrofoil journey. Spiti Charlie's housekeeper will meet you on arrival.

Staying at Spiti Charlie will be subject to availability between March to end of June 2010 (excluding 28 May - 6 June) or anytime between 10 September - 31 October 2010. Limited availability could be sought between the auction and 31 October 2009 (excluding July - first week of September 2009). The week would need to be completed by 31 October 2010.
