Weekend in La Rochelle
3 nights from Friday-Monday in a 2 double bedroom (4 person) holiday home on Ile de Re, France.
Ile de Re is a popular atlantic island just off the French coast near La Rochelle. Consisting of 10 villages, including the UNESCO World Heritage site of St Martin de Re, the island is about 20 miles long and 3 miles wide, with beautiful sandy beaches and a network of cycle paths through vineyards, pine forests and dunes.
Located on the south of the island, the house is in a small alley in the village of Le Bois Place en Re, close to local restaurants and the beach. It has a small courtyard garden and bicycles for cycling around the island.
Whilst not included, regular flights operate to La Rochelle from Southampton and Stansted, and the house is then about 20 mins by taxi from the airport.
The weekend is subject to available holiday home dates after Easter 2010 until 30th June 2010.
